Week of 8/24 in Miss Chappie’s Classes
Hello, Cristeros!
This week in Miss Chappie’s ELA classes, all middle school students worked on nouns in their singular and plural forms. Seventh and eighth grade explored these various roles a noun can play in a sentence: subject, subject complement, direct object, indirect object, objective complement, and object of a preposition.
In literature class, 5th grade started reading The Little Flower, a book about St. Therese of Lisieux by Mary Fabyan Windeatt. Meanwhile, 6th grade embarked on a Narnian adventure with The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, by C. S. Lewis.
Next week is all about iReady!
God bless,
Miss Chappie
