Mrs. Mitchell 1st grade

1st grade had a wonderful week, looking back at what we did and what we will be doing:

• Math centers to review for our test on Monday, then we will jump into Unit 2
• Science all about the sun and its effects on living and non-living things (We will continue this)
• Social Studies they will be introduced next week about to time, past, present and future (Project will be introduced soon)
• Religion God is our Father, and we will continue that as well

We also had a special guest come into our room and Father talked to them about how to behave in the chapel. We had a wonderful homecoming week, and I loved seeing all the students participate.

Looking forward we are collecting change, and dollar bills for a pregnancy center. The first class to turn it in first gets a choice of a pizza party or a donut party. I told my class if we can get it filled up before its even due October 23rd, we can have a movie party with their favorite stuffed animals and have the pizza or donuts!
