Two Virtues – Diligence and Perseverance

Diligence and Perseverance are important virtues to consider this time of year. As a teacher, I have to remind myself to persevere through the difficult times that some students face. It is hard to watch a student struggle when I know the answer. Yet, I wait for them to figure it out. Sometimes I give reminders. I encourage parents to do the same as your student struggles with math or any subject, as well as with other life issues. We all learn from the struggle. Be diligent and persevere!
