All Saints and All Souls Celebrations

It is a tradition at Royalmont Academy to celebrate All Saints and All Souls days.
On October 29, we will have our annual All Saints Day celebration. Students may dress as the saint that they have researched during religion class and go on stage to share with the school what they have learned. Parents are welcome to attend mass and the saint presentation that will start at 10:00 am.
The day includes saint games and activities provided by the 8th grade students and costume awards. There will be prizes awarded at each grade level for: Best Overall and Most Creative.
Due to popular demand, we will have our second annual All Saints Marching event. Parents and Grandparents can buy a parking spot for $10.00, decorate a trunk in honor of their favorite Catholic Saint and pass out candy to our students. Please use this link to reserve your spot: Royalmont Academy: The Saints Go Marching In. Students love seeing the love and creativity, care, and love their families put into decorating their cars.
On Nov. 2, we will visit Gates of Heaven Cemetery. You have received an email to sign the permission slip on Final Forms. Permission slips are due on or before Wednesday, October 28th.
On Nov 6, we will offer mass in honor of those among our families and friends who have returned home to be with the Lord. As a family, please talk about that special person you want the students to pray for and share a favorite memory about this person with your children. We encourage PK – 8 students to make a prayer card with a picture of their loved one and a favorite memory or prayer for this person.Prayer cards will be sent in students backpacks.
In addition, the NHS will have votive candles for purchase for $1.00 each to commemorate deceased loved ones. Use this form to order your candles: All Souls Day Candle Sale Form PDF.pdf
We will have a special prayer procession with their prayer card and their candles into Mass. During the month of November, the candles will remain in the chapel and be lit during all liturgies as we continue to keep your loved ones lifted in prayer.
Thank you for helping us to honor those who have gone before us to be with the Lord!
