Grandparent’s Day was a huge success. It was so nice seeing all the grandparents with their grandchildren!

Next week is SPIRIT WEEK!! We have lots of special days so please look at our dates carefully. Next Friday Oct 2 is our Homecoming night and there will be a parade here at school and a special handing off from the seniors to the kindergarteners. Hope you can make it. Unfortunately, I will not be there. My youngest needs to be picked up from college for her fall break.

WHAT WE LEARNED THIS WEEK

• Reading – This week we added the letter /g/ this week and and learned all about Johnny Appleseed
• Math – We learned all about 3-D shapes and positional words.
• Writing – We learned how to draw a setting for our pictures.
• Religion – We learned about the ten commandments and practiced our songs for Grandparent’s Day.
• Science – Life Cycle of an apple tree.
