Jr. Kindergarten is Becoming a Family
Dear Jr. Kindergarten Families,
This week our focus has been on our families. Three students took a turn this week sharing their family photos and their All About Me drawings from the first two weeks of school. Over the next two weeks, the rest of the students in the class will share their photos and drawings as well. In this way, I hope the students will get to know each other better and find they have some things in common.
In addition, the Jr. Kindergarteners filled up their Jesus jar for the first time and received their first reward. (When students do kind things for each other or for me, they put a marble in our Jesus jar.) They chose as their first reward to pick a prize from my treasure box. I am so proud of them and the ways they show kindness!
