Message from Your Teacher

It was a quick week! Thanks for all your support while I was out with my husband. They did fine with our guest teacher and all should be back to normal next week.

We are continuing to learn and practice our routines and expectations and have started switching classes for Religion and reading. They are doing a great job!

Our first iReady benchmarks are complete and you should be receiving results soon.

What We Learned

Reading — This week we learned another vowel /a/ and practiced isolating and identifying the vowel /a/ or /o/ in basic three-letter words. Our story this week was Howard B. Wigglebottom Learns to Listen.

Math — We continued practicing counting and writing numbers up to 5.

Writing — Continuing with large motor exercises as we progress into the fine motor skills we need for writing and drawing.

Religion — We learned about St. John Bosco and that God Made Me Special.

Social Studies — How to follow rules and expectations.
