Middle School Launches Saint Research Projects

Megan Chappie · October 9, 2026

This week in middle school, students in grades five through eight were asked to choose a saint for their All Saints Day research project. This is a far-reaching, cross-disciplinary assignment that will require them to piece together work completed in English, religion, and social studies.

Meanwhile, adventures in grammar and literature continue. Fifth grade is about to finish reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe next week, while sixth grade has moved on to Black Beauty, by Anna Sewell.

Please see Facts and Teams for more detailed assignment information! As we near the end of the quarter, now is the time for students to turn in any missing work that may be showing in their gradebooks.

Also: 7th & 8th grade girls, please remember to check your pockets for loose change for our class Bottles for Babies drive for Elizabeth’s New Life Center.
