Strive for Excellence, Not Perfection

In Math this week, we saw students trying to be perfect in IXL or in taking tests. These students are high achievers, but it is always a welcome reminder that excellence is what they want to strive for, not perfection. Striving for excellence means we are working to achieve outstanding quality through continuous improvement. Excellence is sustainable, while perfection or flawlessness is rarely attainable, self-defeating and is not sustainable.
